STEM & Leaf is a mobile STEM enrichment initiative founded by biologist Faith Collins, dedicated to bridging the gap between education and career pathways for girls in Durham Public Schools. Our mission is to cultivate an innovation-to-career pipeline by delivering hands-on, industry-aligned STEM experiences directly to students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Through dynamic workshops, mentorship programs, and real-world exposure, STEM & Leaf empowers students to explore and pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We collaborate with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to provide authentic learning experiences that inspire and equip the next generation of STEM leaders.
