If possible, I'd love to also include my regular/honors Biology students for, perhaps, a different activity but am not sure that this is an option. If so, it adds groups at 7:10, 11:20, and 1:25. This is an additional (90) students. Will discuss via e-mail.
The two groups listed above are AP Biology students. They are mature learners. Gel Electrophoresis is a required AP Biology lab. I'm open to suggestions as far as the right event to select.
The additional groups are underclassmen taking honors biology. These students have little knowledge of DNA structure at this point but would benefit greatly from the experience. I'd love to see them complete the dinosaur electrophoresis investigation if adding a second activity is permissible. I could also schedule this group for a bit later in the year if that is an option.
