Clinical Chemistry for Medical Technologists (students will have had chm130 but are not required to take bio111)
Object of the day is to clearly define separations and introduce students to basic techniques/technologies that have many medical applications.
The activities requested are: gel electrophoresis of agarose dyes (emphasis on molecular size and polarity), paper chromatography, and separation of grape kool-aid using column chromatography.
