The course covers theory and principles of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and FTIR instrumentation. Students will learn how an FTIR works and how to analyze spectra. Hand-on component of the course will allow students to use prepare different types of samples and use traditional absorption and ATR modes of measurement.
