Super Sleuth Sampler

Super Sleuth Sampler

Your students will become super sleuths as they analyze different pieces of evidence to solve a crime. Beginner sleuths will progress through a series of stations to solve the mystery, while more advanced sleuths will concentrate their efforts on more sophisticated processes to determine the culprit. Beginner stations can be customized based on the time available and the standards you'd like to address (just make a note on your visit request form if you want particular stations). Possible stations include: Microscopy, Blood Typing, Blood Spatter Analysis, White Powder ID, Dental Impressions, Chromatography, and Fiber ID. More advanced sleuths will focus their efforts on immunoassays and gel electrophoresis (additional activities will be added if time permits). Teachers looking for even more advanced forensics activities are encouraged to consider the activity "Missy Baker is Missing".
