This course introduces the basics of work in a laboratory setting. Hands-on training includes the use of instruments and equipment such as pipettes, micropipettes, balances, pH meters, autoclaves, microscopes, and spectrophotometers. The course also covers lab safety, equipment operation, documentation, preparation of chemical solutions, and use of chromatography in sample preparation and analytical techniques.
